Brrrr!

67%How Addicted to Blogging Are You?

Looking for payday loan?

So when I woke up this morning, I checked the weather report. It is a lovely 6 degrees here if you count wind chill. Yes, ladies and germs, I said 6 degrees. That's not a typo. And we're still convinced there's global warming?? Not in western PA!. And I took a little quiz I found over at Kate's Our Red House. I'm more addicted than she, but less than I thought! I've also been tagged by Kate in the 8 Things Meme and by Amanda @ Cottage Contessa for 5 Random Things About Me. I think I'll combine them...and do a 5 Things Meme! And that's not cheating!

5 Things I'm Passionate About
1. My family
2. My faith
3. Animals
4. Cooking
5. Learning to appreciate the blessings in life.

5 Things I Want To Do Before I Die
1. Take a 3 month holiday to Italy!
2. Travel throughout the rest of Europe
3. Watch my sons get married
4. Play with my grandchildren
5. Learn to craft and sew

5 Things I Say Often
1. I love you.
2. Be careful.
3. Austin!
4. Jesse Lee!
5. Dad Gumm It Blob!

5 Books I've Read Recently
1. The Bible (currently)
2. The Excellent Wife (Martha Peace)
3. Your Best Life Now for Moms (Joel Osteen)
4. Country Living Magazine
5. Paula!

5 Songs I Could Listen To Over and Over Again (I'll do Christmas songs)
1. O Holy Night
2. Mary, did you know?
3. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
4. Old Toy Trains
5. Adeste Fideles

8 Things That Attract Me To My Friends
1. Humor
2. Honesty
3. Similar values
4. Kindness and Compassion
5. Smart-assness

I was supposed to name 5 people to do this meme. But, I've named so many people for so many different tags...I don't want to anymore. LOL!! I like doing them. It's day where I don't have to think of anything to write, so to speak. But, I don't know about everyone else. Like I said, this constitutes a blog entry. So if you can't think of anything to write about, do it. I enjoy reading about others, so I'll love reading yours!

Don't try to do everything yourself. Remember, even Santa needs his elves!

Good Morning Julie,
Burrrr!!!! That is cold. It is cold here this morning too. It is 28 degrees with a windchill of 18 degrees. Now that's cold for this area. LOL. I have days when I don't know what to blog about as well. There is not much going on in this small town or at our house for that matter. I haven't posted yet. I'm still trying to think of something to post about. LOL. Well, take care my friend and have a great Thursday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.
P.S. It's always nice learning new things about our blogging friends. I enjoyed reading all of yours. Stay Warm.

It's about the same temp here in South Central PA too and we had about 4" of snow yesterday. This is pretty extreme for December.

It is one of my dreams to spend 3 months in Italy too. I don't think any less time could really do justice. Maybe I'll see you there.

I love the words to O Holy Night. The music is wonderful of course too, but the words - so powerful. "A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoiced for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!" What a hopeful set of words!

Mary, Did you know is ALSO one of my favorite Christmas songs. Very thought-provoking lyrics.

Hi Julie! Love getting to know you better through memes, even though you pour your heart here, but memes compile better. I'm also addicted to blogging. I hope you can visit me some day, even though I do not live in Europe, heheeh.

Good Morning Jules,

I can't believe it's only 6 degrees there! That is just wrong! I would have to do all of my shopping online...that is if my fingers didn't snap off when I tried to type and there probably wouldn't be any money left because it would all be spent on the heating bill! Loved learning more about you :)

Yep, it was -2 degrees this morning here in IL. My son's car broke down tonight, of course! But God was there. Just as I hung up the phone with Mitch, his girlfriend called saying, "I'm at the bank and Mitch's truck is on the side of the road here..." She was able to give him a ride home. He's always there! AND my ex called today to discuss the Christmas schedule, which we usually have to go to court over before there's an agreement! He offerred to let Noah stay with us through the holidays this year! It truly, truly is God's hand working. I know you understand how huge this is. Thanks for the ear. Blessings... Polly

I hope you get to travel to Italy, and Europe. I think the money is worth it. Would you go with your husband, husband and kids or a friend?

I would love to go to Italy, too, and experience all the food.

So I heard you forgot to put the packet in the smoothie...shame shame.
