What's in a Title?

Here's a fun little tag that anyone can play. Just go to AMAZON.COM, click on BOOKS, then ADVANCED SEARCH, type your first name in TITLE, then choose a cute or meaningful book cover and then POST it.

The book I chose is called Julie and Julia: My Year of Cooking Dangerously! A book about a woman, who keeps a blog, and decided the rat race wasn't fulfilling her passion for life. So she quit and started cooking! Sounds pretty familiar to me!

And I just couldn't resist posting one more video clip from The Carol Burnett Show. Last one I promise. A Classic!

Blessing of the day: I'm blessed because of groceries. I'm blessed because I can afford to go shopping, blessed because I am capable of bringing the groceries into the house and blessed that my father taught me how to cook.

Good Morning Julie,
That book sounds pretty neat. I did the book thing the other day, but there were so many Karen books that I didn't have time to go through all of them. There were over 1200 of them. The ones that I did see, I didn't really care for. When I have more time I might go back and do some more researching. LOL It sure is cold here this morning. It is 32 degrees right now. I haven't had much sleep, so I'm drinking coffee to try to stay awake for a while. I just always loved watching Carol Burnett. Then there was Mama's Family. I just loved that show also. Well take care my friend and have a great Friday. God Bless You.

Hugs,
Karen H.

I have watched that over and over again when I first discovered it on Utube. I also found out I could watch my little brother and my favorite cartoons from Bugs Bunny on there too. He and I sat online one night laughing our heads off watching them. My mother said we forgot to grow up. YEP!

Have a wonderful weekend Julie and stop by my blog to sign up for my birthday give~away.

I remember when this book came out. The author had cooked her way through the entire Julia Child cookbook. She compared the things she learned in the recipes with lessons she was learning in life. Food as Life--yep, makes sense to me.

Okay, one more comment. I have my baby granddaughter here and whenever your Christmas music plays on my computer she starts to dance. Too funny!

Mother Teresa...HA!!
or Alton which suits me better...
I'm not sure..

Oh Julie: I was reading your blog when a friend called. I could hardly speak to her because I was laughing so hard from the video clip. I sure hope it is NOT your last one. I love the Carol Burnett crew. I already told you I saw Vicki Lawrence a few months ago. Thanks for the belly laugh.

Here's the funny thing: After your Tim and Harvey clip yesterday, I went out to YouTube and did a search and watched EVERYTHING, including the clip you posted today. See what you started?

I was wondering when anyone would get around to "writing" about blogging...lol! I'll have to look that book up!

Oh, just listen to that Christmas music. If I get sidetracked I can always come over here to get some holiday cheer for decorating. I love, love the Carol Burnett show. I really miss those old days of TV when things were SO much better. The drivel that's on these days is just pathetic. That was a great show, when entertainment was really funny.
