No visits due to migraine!

Good morning everyone! Yesterday morning I drove up to my mom's to bake cookies for my cousin's upcoming wedding. And then after I came home I started making dinner.... and a migraine kicked in. I should have known better. I had the slightest start of a headache before I went to my mom's but I contributed that to not having enough coffee. It started gaining momentum and then by 5 o'clock last night it was in full swing. I think this constant change in weather around these here parts is the culprit. So I did not get around to visiting everyone last night. Sorry about that. I always feel so bad when I don't visit on a daily basis. Not because I think everyone will wonder where I am; I just like visiting. I gain such encouragement and find great ideas from everyone. But alas, my head was pounding and I was down for the count. So I will try to catch up today. But I'm probably going to miss the idea of the century or the wittiest of banter because I will inevitably miss someone. Dad Gumm It Blob!!

I do want to thank everyone for your comments yesterday. It was such a nice surprise to see all of the words of encouragement and heartfelt hugs from everyone this morning. Good people!

Since I didn't read last night and consequently didn't come up with an idea for a post this morning...I'm leaving you with a card. Cop out maybe, but what's a girl to do?? Click on the link below, allow the card to load and be sure to mute my music.

Somewhat creepy but hilarious Thanksgiving Card

Blessing of the day: I'm blessed because I have health insurance which enables me to get my prescription for migraines.

Good Morning Julie,
I'm sorry you had a migrane. I do hope it is better this moring. I get a headache similar to that once in a while. I don't know if it's due to not having coffee or enough coffee. Sometimes I wonder if I have a brain tumor. They are so bad that I have to go to bed. I hate it when I have those kind of headaches too. Don't feel bad about not getting to visit everyone. I know everyone here in blogland understands. Well, I just finished posting and I'm out visiting, so take care my friend and have a great Tuesday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

Dear Julie, I'm so sorry to hear about the migraine! I hope you feel better this morning. Take it easy, though; you don't have to be superwoman! :) I feel as though I've missed everyone this week, too. It's OK, though, we'll get back to it soon. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
xoxo,
Mary
PS: your countdown to Christmas is freakin' me out, man!

I am so sorry about the migrane, my sister suffers from those and suffers is the word for those horrible things.

Even the day after a bad migraine my mother would always say that her head still felt "tender." How awful those headaches are. So take it easy today and maybe don't read tooooo much.

Oh, and the kid from that card belongs in a Stephen King novel.

Hey Julie! I am a migraine girl as well...I have been for years and years...although they did get somewhat better when I moved away from all the humidity in New England...I have lost so much "time" to being down with a banger! I rely quite heavily on caffeine as well.
You're right that card IS creepy...someone actually got paid to create that?? LOL
Love,
Robin

I'm so sorry you had a migraine! I have headaches every few months that I think might be migraines... dizziness, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound... feels like my head is going to explode... I don't get them very often, though, so I have never gone to the doctor..
Having insurance IS a blessing... That's why Rick keeps his job even though it doesn't pay as much as he could make elsewhere.. The family plan insurance is free...

Julie, so sorry about the headache. I know they are just terrible. I have bad ones once in awhile but not migraines...just sinus headaches. They can send me to bed, tho.

I haven't been by for a few days so I'm catching up. You know, ironically, we listened to that telephone call from the little boy at church Saturday night! And I'm so sorry that you had a migraine. I get them too. The church thing can be so frustrating. We went through a difficult patch with our church a few years back. Someone told me then, begin praying for the areas/people that are causing the issues. It was the most helpful advice. Talk later. email if you'd like. Blessings... Polly

Julie, was it a tension headache (brought on my muscle pain in your neck and shoulders) or caused by something else? If it's muscle-induced, girl, get a massage!

I hope you don't get headaches often. I'll be praying for you. :)

Oh Julie, I hope you're feeling better today! My husband used to get them often but they are better now. I think coffee actually helps!!!
That Thanksgiving card was funny!
I have to be thankful today that my daughter has an old computer because that's the only way to check blogs or my email!!!! My computer crashed last night!! I'm having major withdrawal symptoms :(
