Freezing - So I'm Off....

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Good morning everyone! I woke up this morning to a freezing house. It's 61 degrees in here right now. I called Kenny at work and asked him if he thought it was cold when he left???? A little maybe but I just got up and left. What the heck kind of answer is that??

I checked the pilot light and it's on. He walked me through a series of other possibilities and decided that I have no idea what I'm doing. However...rather than him come home now and lose the overtime that we desperately need right now, he'll be home at his regularly scheduled time which is 11:30. In the meantime, I'm packing up and heading to my brother's.

Blessing for the day: I'm blessed to have family right down the road when my furnace acts up!

My parents keep their house at 65 and if it's a degree or two above that, mom says, "Whew, I'm cooking hot! Who messed with the thermostat?!" I have to wear coat at their house in the Winter! Blessings... Polly

Oh, dear, you poor thing! That dog comic is so silly!

We actually keep our house pretty chilly, maybe 63 degrees most days because our house is so big I don't want to spend more money! So we walk around in sweaters and parkas until June!

Happy weekend!

Try to keep warm Julie! Bundle up. I hate being cold. It's supposed to get down to 32 at night.

Hey Julie, wanted to stop by and visit you today..it has been awhile. Love that cartoon. Hope your heat gets fixed really soon. I can relate as this happened to mean many years ago. Our furnace broke and i was huddled in the bedroom with electric heaters, lots of sweaters and the 3 shih tzus under the blankets with me. No fun.

Julie,
So sorry you were cold. I hate that. Lucky you could go were it was warmer.
You asked about a picture on my blog. Yes that is a mirror. I love it. I found it at a flea market, and I added the carved angel to the top.
Stay warm,
Rosemary

I would like to keep my thermostat at 64 but James has talked me into keeping it at 67. I have a big house with huge ceilings so I made a compromise....until the bill comes!

Robin

Hope your furnace problem wasn't too serious. 61 degrees is pretty normal around my house with the furnace running properly. Who says ear muffs and mittens are only for outside?
