Blessing for the day: I'm blessed to have my husband. Every day he leaves at 5:15 AM and works until at least 6:30 on most days. He works hard for our family and I know that I'm blessed to have him.

Really wonderful lantern Julie! I love lanterns and have them both hanging here in my garden from pergolas and by the front door as well as up at the cottage. They really can add charm to a home at this time of year in the evenings.

I agree withyou on being so thankful for your husband. My husband is nearing retirement and works long hours also. He has various heart problems and has been in and out of hospitails for the last 13 years. But he and his doctors feel it is still best for him to work so he does. I Praise our Lord for bringing this man into my life. Have a Blessed week Mary

Your husband sounds like such a great guy. It really does say a lot when a man works long hours to support his family. I doubt he really wants to be working 12 hours a day but he sees it as a serious responsibility.
I love that rooster lamp!
Julie,
What a cute lantern. I'm sure it sold in 2.8 seconds.
Isn't it nice we have such great husbands?
Have a great day,
Rosemary
Just letting you all know that we have more than one of these lanterns. So don't worry that are too late to get one.

But it's hard when our oh-so-lovable-working-beloveds are gone so may hours! I'm sure the two of you make it up to one another though =) The rooster lantern is really cool. I'm pondering it for a friend of mine. Thanks. Blessings..Polly
I love the little tag lines about your DH....we are so unique as women but what would we be without our men....
