Comic Relief

I sent this to a few people in an email this morning. But I got to laughing so hard that I had to share it with everyone. I'm not sure what's funnier - Tim Conway's acting or watching Harvey Korman try not to laugh. Enjoy everyone! Be sure to pause the music on my sidebar...

Blessing of the day: I'm blessed because I remember when comedy was clean and families could sit together and watch TV.

Haha, I'm actually laughing out loud! What a great start to my day. If only there was more of this type of good, quality humour out there these days. It's a wonderful family bonding experience to sit down and have a giggle together in front of a good comedy!

Blessings,
Laura

That was awesome, thanks for posting it!

Have you ever seen Tim Conway's speil on the Siamese elephants? It's my favorite TV moment - ever.

The Carol Burnett Show is still one of my all time favorites. Every single one on the show would just send me into hysterics! When Harvey would crack up at Tim during one of their scenes, I would just fall of the sofa, laughing.
This episode was a classic!

They sure don't make them like that anymore do they?? Good thing we have TVLand reruns!!!

Those two defined comedic GENIUS! I loved watching them and Carol Burnett...remember Tim Conway and "Mrs. Wiggins" or "Mrs. uh-Wiggins", as his character, Mr. Tudball, pronounced it? Gosh, they were all so funny.
Loved this clip...I was sitting here laughing out loud. Good way to start the morning!

Hi! I decided to check out your blog because I read your comments on "Momma says the F word". I'm so happy I did. We used to love the CB show when I was a kid. I remember a recurring bit where Carol was tormented in her house by spokespeople for various products. Nobody else seems to remember that..hmm.. Anyhoo, glad I found you!

I've always loved these two. Harvey had the best job in the world - he just had to show up and let Tim make him laugh. And the more Harvey laughed, the funnier the sketch was.

Good Afternoon Julie,
This is just too funny. I needed this laugh after the morning I had earlier. I will post about it tomorrow. I used to watch the Carol Burnett Show all the time. The, I used to watch Mama's Family. Even when my kids were smaller they would watch Mama's Family with me. Now, me and hubby likes to watch the Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Jeff Foxworthy. But, Larry and Bill are our favorites out of the bunch. Comedy sure isn't what it used to be back then. I appreciate you stopping by again yesterday. If you don't mind, I would like to add you to my blogroll. Take care my friend and have a Great Thursday and God Bless You.

Hugs,
Karen H.

What a funny show that was. The cast really liked each other and that came through. Their humor was so kind, not the rough stuff that passes as humor today.

ROFL...now that was when comedy was comedy!

I've always loved those guys!

Hey Julie, finally have time to make a return visit! Everything looks so great, congrats on the grand opening! (And thanks for not giving up on my intermittent blog attempts!)

I *love* that clip-- when I was a kid, I used to pretend that I couldn't sleep on Carol Burnett night, and wheedle my parents into allowing me to watch. That and M*A*S*H were always my faves!

J.

Does anyone remember Tim Conway as "Dorf"...(Ithink that was his name) where he would stick his knees in a pair of shoes and walk around in them ???

Oh the laughs!!

You have me all nostalgic now...
