Spring Will Come!!
I'm sure everyone is getting tired of me complaining about the cold weather. And it's really my own fault. I'm ready for Autumn by Sept.1. I decorate for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. By February my attention has turned to spring and all the glory it brings of the earth's rebirth.
I'm so excited for spring this year. This will be my first year at home. I will have time to really clean all of the leaves out of my yard. Incidentally, I don't have trees in my yard. But directly behind me are woods. I have more leaves than a forest. This year I want to plant a garden. My kids aren't going to be too happy about that. Takes up their playing area, you know. But for the past 5 years all of the neighborhood kids have played in my yard. Pick a new one. I want to plant my flowers and enjoy my front porch again. Spring is coming!
Nunnie's Attic has a whole category dedicated to your garden needs. We have hand selected our inventory. We stock our webstore with items we want to own. But always remember that if you're looking for something specific and you don't see it, just ask. We will do everything in our power to find what you're looking for to best suit your style.
Can't you just picture yourself lying on this hammock? Basking in the warm sun. Reveling in the beauty that surrounds you while taking a much needed break. Won't you take a peek inside the attic and see what treasures you can find?

I'm with you, Julie -- can't wait for spring! That hammock looks pretty good right about now. We got a little of that icy weather Thursday into Friday, but not nearly as much as you. Hope you had a great weekend, and caught up on your sleep. :)
xoxo,
Mary
Yes, reclaim your space for a beautiful garden! And if the kids complain put them all to weeding! :)
Oh girl that hammock looks like a dream... I am with you ready for spring.. but not for my allergies to kick in full force or the pollen that comes with it...
Its a true mess for me....wreaks havoc the likes of which you have never seen..
need to get all my projects done so I can do some planning and stay indoors until the nasties are gone... I cant even fling open my windows ... now that is a bummer because i love cool breezes wafting through the windows blowing the curtains softly.... thats why I like the cold better... the allergies arent quite so bad then...
see we all have our little things we dont like about the weather...
Sad thing ... I LOVE to garden.. have to wear a face mask when I do that...
HUGS ....PS Mr groundhog said there are six more weeks of winter yet... so we shall see
LOVE JO
I've been having thoughts of spring too. It will be a welcome change when it arrives.
Hi Julie!!I don't have any trees in my backyard either although our neighborhood is a fairly new one surrounded by trees and right near a lake. It was really really cold yesterday so I'm kinda ready for the spring but that brings spring time chores.....
Hugs,
Robin
High here today is supposed to be 79. Just sayin'.
It will be here before you know it! That's why February is a short month...because we're all waiting for Spring!

Hi Julie! I definitely would love a little Springtime weather! I was chuckling just a bit at your talks of spring with your Christmas music playing in the background. :-) You are the best!
Blessings!
Melissa
I am as hopeful as you! Funny, I use hammock in my blog name:
http://daysmissedonahammock.blogspot.com/
I stare at it all summer long in my yard from every window of the house making plans to get on out there!
:0)

That hammock would be divine if I had two trees close enough together to tie it in =) I may try a garden again this year too. Maybe I won't kill everything this time. Blessings... Polly
I'm with you 100%, except in the other direction.......I can't wait for Autumn. I'm so over Summer! Have a great day Julie!

I agree, reclaim that space! Oh I cannot wait to get my hands in the dirt and play with my flowers this Spring. It cannot come fast enough :)

Come on spring! That hammock looks awfully inviting.
You will certainly enjoy Spring. i know I am looking forward to Autumn/Fall here in Australia as I have had enough of the heat of Summer.
Alison
Yes ma'am I'm ready for spring too. Except the dreaded part - putting on a swimsuit! LOL
Hugs!

Funny enough, I have been daydreaming about Spring here, too! I think it's the (slightly) warmer days and the sun feels a little stronger...
Take a nap and sweet dreams!
Linda

Do I sense some cabin fever? Sounds like you are really chomping at the bit to get out and plant in that garden of yours. Hang in there, Julie, spring is coming soon.
You are going to have such fun planting your garden! Are you planting veggies and herbs too or just flowers?
Hugs,
Penny
Well, I would love to lay in that hammock, sipping some ice tea. That sounds so relaxing. I'm starting to feel sleepy.
You can complain all you want. I don't mind. I love complaining on my blog.
I can't wait to see how the garden comes along. I think I'm going to plant one, too.
Well General Beuregard Lee said we're going to have an early spring (unlike that other groundhog)!
I can't wait either. I have so much to do outside!
Manuela
I'm like you and can't wait for spring. I wish I had the proper equipment, I would at least plant a salsa garden (just the ingredients for salsa *wink*)
Right now I could put that hammock between two palm trees on a Destin Florida shore and be quite happy thank ya!
I'm looking forward to spring too. There are so many beautiful flowers in the garden shops I'm ready to get busy planting. I've got to wait for the ground to dry up a little...then full steam ahead. Have fun planning your space. Linda
If you want to plant a garden, go for it, girl. Get the kids to help out!
Spring cannot come too soon for me.
I am tired of winter and it hasn't been that bad this year.
I hope you get your garden planted as you hope to. Good luck.
Me too! I'm at least ready for winter to be over... after the tornado that ripped through here last spring, the upcoming spring storms make me VERY nervous!
I CAN see myself in that hammock, but I see myself covered in snow and freezing.
I'll try picturing again in a couple of months...
Hi Julie, I'm ready to enjoy the outdoors too! I want to relax on my back deck, with a good book under the fan my hubby put up to keep us cool..
About my days of the week towels..right now I'm just putting them out for display, not to use! I wonder how long that will last!
Michelle
Hi Julie...we actually had temps in high 70's yesterday. We had drs appointments in St Louis County..about a 50 mile drive. So glad we changed our appts from last Friday when we had 8" of snow. In Missouri, you never know what you're going to get weatherwise...today it's raining and cold!
I love a hammock! They're wonderful!
Pat
Hi Julie,
I am so ready for Spring! I love the garden set and hammock and it feels kind of like Spring here today. We have a tornado watch out tonight.
I wish we had a bit of winter but oh well! We just put out the terracotta pots I plant up each year with flower bulbs. They are all starting to come up. And the bulbs in the garden are all coming up. It is so early for it all this year.
Hugs ~
Heidi
